Nosotros - Latin American Community Television Programme in Edmonton (Alberta)

The Nosotros television programme has existed in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) since 1982 and has been broadcasting hour-long shows on Shaw Television. The programme, founded by Lito Azócar, represents the views, history and memory of local Latin American communities in Alberta. In keeping with its collection and preservation mandate, the University of Alberta Libraries have recently digitized, with the help of the University of Alberta's Arts Resource Centre, 239 Nosotros videos (from 1982 to 2010).
